Eastern PEI Coordinator
The Board of Directors of the PEI Seniors Safety Program is pleased to welcome and introduce Anita K Mercier, as our new Coordinator for the Eastern half of PEI. Anita is replacing retiring Coordinator Lynn Ann Dixon and she recognizes she has large shoes to fill and looks forward to building on Lynn Ann’s accomplishments. Anita brings a wealth of experience and knowledge, she had a successful career in business development with an exemplary ability to troubleshoot and lead turnaround of under-performing business operations. She has experience in sales and marketing, relationship development, recruiting, training, restructuring and strategic planning.

Prior to returning to PEI Anita was working for the Calgary Downtown Association as Director, Funding and Program Development. Her prior work experience included: Vice President Business Development- Calgary Chamber of Commerce, Director Business Development, Malibu Engineering & Software Ltd., Xerox Canada Ltd. with her final position being Business Development Manager, Xerox Global Services.

Western PEI Coordinator
The Board of Directors of the PEI Seniors Safety Program is pleased to welcome Joyce McCardle as our Western PEI Coordinator.
Joyce has extensive experience in the area of teaching and working with seniors. Like our Eastern Coordinator Joyce is coming out of retirement to work and is looking forward to meeting seniors and those working with and for seniors in the Western half of PEI.

Joyce will be working part time and will be responsible for the Western half of PEI. She will be available to do presentations to various groups to inform them of the various components of the PEI Seniors Safety Program. She will also be available to meet with seniors in their own home to bring information on personal and home safety.
