Purpose & Objectives of PEI Seniors Safety Program

Purpose

Is to provide isolated, vulnerable and community dwelling seniors with personal safety, home safety and health information. This information is delivered by the program Coordinator to seniors in their own home and is designed to help reduce: their fear of crime; their vulnerability to frauds and scams, their susceptibility to unscrupulous sales persons and contractors; and help reduce the possibility of abuse.
